Concrete & Mortar Admixtures

Admixtures is a major category of construction division products. Water reducing admixtures, mid range water reducers, water reducing set retarding admixtures and water reducing accelerators minimize the requirement of water needed to mix with concrete. These products also aid in screening and reduce shrinkage. Air entertaining agents improve the workability of concrete mix, and is used to increase durability of roadways, motorways, bridges, dams, runways. Accelerators for increasing the early strength of concrete, high range water reducers, retarders and accelerators, masonry admixtures for low slump concrete, stabilizers for stabilizing the concrete mixtures, specialized admixtures, mortar admixtures and fibres to reduce plastic shrinkage in concrete mixtures are also available.


MEKPLAST - N

Description: MEKPLAST - N is a normal setting water reducing admixture / plasticizer based on modified lignosulphonate to increase the workability of concrete or allow a water reduction (up to 10%). Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C- 494 Type A, BS 5075: Part I: 1982 (Normal Water Reducing Admixture).


MEKPLAST - SPR

Description: MEKPLAST - SPR is a new generation concrete admixture based on a blend of polysulphonates of naphthalene and other specially selected organic polymers. It has high degree of slump retention characteristics. Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C-494 Type F & A, BS: 5075 Part 3.


MEKPLAST - SHS

Description: Superplasticizer / High Range Water Reducing Admixture for Concrete MEKPLAST - SHS is a new generation superplasticizer. Conforms to IS:9103-1999, (Reaffirmed 2004), edition 2.2 (2007-08), ASTM C- 494/C 494M-99a Type F, BS


MEKPLAST - M

Description: Superplasticizer / High Range Water Reducing Admixture MEKPLAST - M is a high range water reducing admixture based on modified poly-condensate of melamine and formaldehyde. It is a brown liquid gets dispersed immediately in concrete mix together with water. It conforms to IS: 9103, ASTM – C494 Type A, F/G.


MEKPLAST – AP

Description: MEKPLAST – AP Accelerating Water Reducing Admixture / Plasticizer and Water proofer for Concrete plasticizer based on modified lignosulphonate to achieve higher early strength. Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C-494 Type E, IS: 2645-1975.


MEKPLAST - RP

Description: Retarding water reducing admixture and Concrete Plasticizer. Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C-494 Type A & D, BS-5075 Part I.


MEKPLAST - LWC

Description: Air Entraining Agent for Concrete & Mortar MEKPLAST - LWC a polymeric resin based air entraining agent for concrete and mortar. It produces microscopic air bubbles distributed evenly throughout the concrete. Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, (reafrmed 2004), Edition 2.2 (2007- 2008), ASTM C-260- 06.


FERRIT-CR

Description: Corrosion Inhibiting Solution. FERRIT-CR is a modified liquid Admixture for protecting steel reinforcement bars in concrete in high chloride and certain chemical environments. It should be added in the concrete mix to inhabit the corrosion process. It confirms ASTM G1, ASTM G-3, ASTM G- 109 & JIS Z1535.


MEKPLAST -SHSM

Description: MEKPLAST -SHSM is a new generation super plasticizer / concrete admixture based on a blend of specially selected high molecular weight Melamine and Naphthalene Formaldehyde condensates and other inorganic / organic polymers. This has high plasticizing effect and acts as high range water reducer (20%) and integral cement water proofer for concrete. Conforms to IS: 9103-1999, ASTM C-494 Type F and A, BS 5075 Part 3, IS: 2645-1975.

Description: Retarding pumping concrete admixture with water reducing property. MEKPLAST –PPR is a concrete admixture based on long chain polymers combining the properties of concrete plasticizer, retarder and rheology improver complying with ASTM C-494.
